4 Week Strength Training Foundations (Adults) – Starts April 29

No Weight-ing!

Declining muscle mass is part of aging, but that does not mean you are helpless to stop it” (Harvard Medical School).

As we grow older, we must become wiser. Strong healthy bodies create strong healthy minds and vice versa. We must not think about changing body shape, but rather getting the balance right and looking at body composition. It is important to create lean muscle mass in order to improve the function of the body in everyday life. The focus should not be on weight of the body but perhaps the use of weights in the gym. Sporadic exercise plans and Yo-Yo dieting rarely produce long term results. At Fitter Futures, we focus on long term gains – lean muscle mass, positive programs and long-term results.

Our programming is thoughtfully designed and created to include the perfect mix of resistance and weight training so that, quality of life and the ability to do everyday activities can be achieved with a reduced chance of injury. Our adult members have options within the timetable to incorporate both strength and cardio training. In fact, a balance is encouraged.
